Bhag Sar is the highest lake among the lakes of Pir Panjal- Rajouri area, in Atapani / Budhal mountains at an elevation of about 3700m. This oval shaped lake is known for its icebergs. The lake remains frozen during the winter season.
To approach this lake one has to skirt around the Chamar Sar from the left side and then ascend the glacier up to 4000m from where the lake is visible. This lake is not easily accessible for the common man.
